Many organizations are having “Back to School” fests where school supplies are distributed, motivational speakers are featured, and food is served.

 

Summer is over; late-night movies are a thing of the past, and the sleeping-in mornings are coming to an end. Groggy eyes and froggy throats are becoming morning greetings. Socks are lost, snickers are all over the place, and where is my backpack? The beginning of a new school year is always filled with anticipation and wonder.

 

Will any of my friends from last year be in my class this year? Who will be my teacher? The beginning of a new school year is a challenge not only for students but for parents, too. Schedules have to be adjusted, meals planned, and new clothing bought. Amid all of this, it is also an exciting time for parents and students. Parents can observe their child's maturity and physical growth. Students can remember where they were at this time last school year. So, let’s gear up and enjoy this school year and do the best you can.
